Busy Times in Herne Bay

16/5/2016

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well and in good spirits!!
As the year is progressing, things are getting increasingly busy for me and Lester.
As well as all our private parties, we have had the pleasure of performing at the Bandstand, courtesy of Makcaris. A big "Thank You" to Hassan and all the staff for looking after us so well. We have also been performing in the Holiday Parks, particularly in the Isle of Sheppey, with a number of engagements still to fulfill.
Wednesday 18th May sees us at the Kings Hall, Herne Bay for a bit of close up, walkabout magic and a few balloons. The event is the Expo 16 and I will be there between 3:30pm and 5:00pm.
Do come along and say "Hello"

Saturday 21st of May is the grand opening of Play Zone in Herne Bay. You can find it at Unit 2 Eddington Lane, Herne Bay, CT6 5AA. It's going to be a fun day and a great place to visit for a day out with the children. I will be there between 11am and 1pm so please do pay a visit.
The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebrations are going to be busy. All our engagements are by invitation only I'm afraid.  I think the Queen is too busy to come along. Oh well, never mind.
Whatever you are doing to celebrate our Queen's milestone Birthday, make sure you have a great time. Fingers crossed for the weather.
June 18th between 2pm and 4pm we will be at Mereworth Fete. Lester and I have been going here for many years and we really enjoy it as it is one of the very few traditional English Fetes. If you get the chance to attend you will really enjoy the experience.
That will lead us into July and if you haven't already booked your school or pre-school end of year parties don't delay too long as the prime slots are going fast.
And finally, please note that the fees for all parties in the CT5 and CT6 postcode areas are discounted. If you wish to book something in these areas please request Price List A1.
Well, that's enough from me for the time being. I look forward to meeting some of you over the summer, but what ever you do, do it with a smile and most importantly, Have Fun!! See you soon

Happy New Year 2016

Well here we are at the start of another year. I hope 2015 wasn't too bad for you. It's always good to look forward to a brand new year with a positive outlook. After all, it's a blank canvas just waiting for you to make your mark on it.
I, like many other people, make a number of New Year Resolutions, most of which are broken within the first week or two.
Some make resolutions to drink less, eat less or smoke less.
Eat less is mine every year, especially when I check my weight on the 1st of January
This year how about we all make resolutions not to do LESS but to do MORE of some things.
Let's use "Please" and "Thank You" more, after all these still are magic words.
We should respect others more and smile more.
Life still may not be easy, but whoever said that the path to happiness is an easy one. These resolutions though may just make that path a little easier.
I hope you all have a magical 2016.
Happy New Year everyone xx

Wizardry at Foxhunter Park

It was not the greatest Bank Holiday weekend with regards to the weather, but none the less a good time was had by all at the Foxhunter Caravan Park, Monkton.

Here I am complete with my cloak and whiskers as Dumbledor's brother-in-law, The Wacky Wizard.

Influenced by Harry Potter, it's amazing the magic words the children can come up with.

"Obliviamus!" for a disappearing spell and and "Colourama" for coulouring in magic.

The imagination of children never ceases to amaze and delight me and reaffirms (if ever I needed any) as to why I love and do this wonderful job!!

Things to do in Herne Bay

It can be hard to find things to do with the Children for Bank holidays, and sometimes , well, ok, regularly, the weather leaves a lot to be desired!
Please look here for things to do on Herne Bay Events - See what's happening in Herne Bay!

View on baypromoteam.co.uk

You will find many things happening and ways to amuse yourself and the children for next to no money, which is all good.

Sometimes just doing things you do not normally do is great fun for the family - like attempting to paint something, going for a walk - our beach is great for that! - and going to the park. All things that cost a little and create memories.

Whatever you do, have a great time!
